Residual Effects

Feather and Stones poems

Residual Effects
We’re fluttering in, and fluttering out
Is it for a reason, a season, or lifetime
Does anyone stop to find out why
Today keep that thought forefront
Ponder each, every happenstance
When it’s figured out there’s clarity

We are just pebbles on this vast beach
Everyone you pick up, look closely
And contemplate what drew you to it
Were your intentions of a pure nature
If not put it down and re evaluate self
Every life you touch leaves residuals
