Walking the footprints, of life’s past
Pausing to ponder, memories hence
Engulfing, the emotional overflow
Dreaming, with eyes gently streaming

Absorbing all of, life lessons learned
To be treasured, then passed on
Vivid teachings, through progressions
Valued throughout, life’s long journey

Inevitable return, to one’s beginnings
Closing chapters, in unpenned stories
The ghost towns, of childhood dreams
Their spirits being, put finally to rest

When peace in life, is finally reached
In your mind, your soul, in your spirit
Your ready to accept, new life paths
Reflections bring, your heart it’s peace

The Duplicitous One
Your false pains,
ripping at my heartstrings.
Catastrophic miss guided,
narcissistic self.
Your loathing,
became expert in gaslighting.
A pity party,
you are, a journeyman victim.
Spreading your poisonous,
lifelessness fro.
The shackle babble,
of lies spewing spread.
From your rhetoric,
and meaningless voice.
Causing calculated damages,
purposefully.
For your own gains,
and amusement rides.
While you gleefully plan,
your exit strategies.
Duplicitous gleam,
of your next victims fates.
