Walking the footprints, of life’s past
Pausing to ponder, memories hence
Engulfing, the emotional overflow
Dreaming, with eyes gently streaming

To be treasured, then passed on
Vivid teachings, through progressions
Valued throughout, life’s long journey

Inevitable return, to one’s beginnings
Closing chapters, in unpenned stories
The ghost towns, of childhood dreams
Their spirits being, put finally to rest

When peace in life, is finally reached
In your mind, your soul, in your spirit
Your ready to accept, new life paths
