Fully Embracing
Mirrored waters, are orange peeled
By the teardrops, cast from the skies
Rhythmically out of sync, synchronize
Melding mind, body, soul into unison
—
In this misted mornings, gentle rain
Visually inhaling, the wondrous gifts
Tiny birds entangled, winged dance
Oblivious to, pitters pattering drops
—
Hummingbirds presence, enlightens
Begins fluttering, the heartstrings
Drenching the soul, in their joyously
Hither and yon, to flitterings delight
—-
Raindrops quench, flora and fauna
Refreshingly upon, the new day shine
Like tap shoes dancing, leaves aflutter
In stillness standing, fully embracing
